Woodland Healthcare Foundation successfully concludes historic campaign with generous capstone gift from Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation

(August 2018) — Through the generosity of the community, Woodland Healthcare Foundation was recently able to successfully conclude the historic $3 million Advanced Imaging and Surgical Services Campaign. The $338,000 capstone gift was provided by Doyuti T’uhkama, A Partnership of Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.

The campaign was undertaken to provide Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital in Woodland, Calif. with the upgraded surgical tools and imaging equipment it needs to provide the highest possible level of care to Woodland and the surrounding communities. To date, the campaign has provided a number of important enhancements to surgical and imaging services that are already benefitting patients. The capstone gift will contribute toward the purchase of a new nuclear medicine camera, which will enable patients to receive specialized imaging services close to home, rather than traveling to Sacramento or San Francisco.
